The Forest is where they dwell, it is their home and their purpose. They watch over every leaf, cap, feather and scale. Their passage is long written and spans time itself. Their silent steps are littered with life as they guard the cycle of seasonal shifts. From the moss and the dew to the blooming of new buds. To the brittle bark and the frosted stars. They do not weary of this task. Their path, while well-trodden, will endure and revive every spring. They live for the forest, with love, hope, sorrow and strength. The spirit of the forest has always, and will always, be.
 
The forest has always been a place of sanctuary for me, a home for my wild imagination and a safe place to unwind. The spirit who guards and cares for this wonderful space takes the form of a stag, though its body is made up of the bark and moss of its surroundings rather than the fur of its fauna brethren. I love how different animals represent different things for each one of us and I view the stag as a symbol of quiet strength and majesty, not dissimilar to that of the forest itself. The cascading pink petals hint at the time of year and suggest a new beginning filled with all the hope of spring.
